Holliday’s BBQ is created and owned by Gabriel Holliday and is based out of San Diego. It’s food is Strongly influenced his childhood in San Antonio, TX and Central Louisiana.

Color
For the color pallet, I simply wanted to communicate the brand by using the color of the sauces. For example, Chipotle red, Honey mustard..etc. The Nautic Blue however would represent the time Gabe spent in the Navy.

Not only did Holliday’s BBQ serve meats but they also released a limited batch of sauce that was homemade. For the design I really wanted to create a modern vintage label. with classic style typography and lines and vintage style hand illustrations. Below you’ll see three different sauces with a different stories. Each label also has illustrations that represents where the sauce is inspired from and made of. This label would also be printed on a cream paper to get that retro effect.
