Back in 2004, Michael who is the owner, started his barber career cutting all his friends hair in high school. From the basement of his parents house to a hair studio in Edgewater. He continues his passion helping those who need a fresh look.

Formally called “MIKECUTS” Mike decided to rebrand and call it “Goodlooks” The name originates from being an alternate to “Thank you” Back when we were hanging out “Goodlooks” was used regularly and because of that we realized that “Goodlooks” was a perfect name for a barbershop, It’s nostaglic, meaningful and it’s always going to be said at every end of each appointment.

THE BRIEF
The objective for this project was to create a new logo for his barbershop. Previously called Mikecutz (see previous logo) he decided to do a total rebrand to “Goodlooks”

THE SOLUTION
Create an updated identity system to “Goodlooks” while keeping the same aesthetic to his previous logo “Mikecutz.” Using more classic fonts, scripts, and more hand drawn elements.
