Pure “Food from the Heart” is an American Italian restaurant based in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a farm to table establishment, Pure is driven by sustainability, and a champion for locally sourced ingredients.
Pure was brought to life by it’s owner Julie, who had a vision for a space which not only served delicious pizza, but also hosted classes in pizza making, yoga and meditation. After years of business, Julie moved Pure from its original location and took the opportunity to rebrand her restaurant with my help.

THE BRIEF
After moving to a new space in North Carolina, Pure Pizza and Coast Creative joined forces and tasked me with a full rebrand, including logos, colors, illustration and more.
THE SOLUTION
When working on this rebrand, my aim was both to modernize Pure Pizza’s original logo, as well as convey their identity as a restaurant that values freshness, community and sustainability. With these descriptors as my guide, I created a clean, modern and elegant logo. I achieved this by focusing on an earth tones palette, clean fonts, and imagery that represent “farm to table”
